f#ck my previous opinion this OP is an absolute banger and I love this more than the previous one

cause thats what happens in anime with around 20 episodes. they always switch at around episode 12

and sometimes they dont-

they usually switch at half the episodes so it should have switched at ep 11 but the arc hadnt ended yet so either half or when the arc ends. for longer anime like one piece, i think its prob whenever an arc ends or when a segment or "act" of the arc changes. though for some anime with around 24 episodes, it doesnt change like you said but thats pretty weird and uncommon.

it is pretty weird to have the same opening and ending for 20+ episodes imo. it should change though for most anime, the first opening (and ending sometimes) are way better than the second ones which in this case is 100% true.

In all seriousness, Rina is right of course but I have no liking for her as she later engages in revenge p*rn against Yayoi. Not very punk of her. Poor Yayoi but all's well that ends well as she is happy with Shion now.
The glimpse of younger Kogami and Ginoza was great too. Gino seems so chill here (relatively) so Kogami's demotion must have really messed him up. Sasayama kinda seems like a wilder Kagari honestly. Speaking of Kagari, it's sad his backstory isn't explored in the anime as well (iirc).Especially considering the fate he meets.

i like both openings, but with time i have come to like the first one more
as for the endings, the first will always be my favourite of all the seasons :3
the second one is not bad tho
